OT: Electric Aviation - Engineers wanted at Siemens

Simon Liebold
Not really UAV related. This may be interesting for skilled electrical
engineers looking to work on something big. I just thought, I'd post it
here.

I was attending an OUV (German equivalent of EAA) event yesterday where
Frank Anton from Siemens gave an interesting talk. They are developing
the future hybrid power drive for (real) passenger planes. This is not
the usual publicity stunt: They received serious funding and he is
currently putting a R&D team together in Germany. He said that
interested engineers should apply.

Unfortunately I'm no electrical engineer. :-( But maybe it is of
interest for some of you.
